Maintenance Manager

A nationally recognized distribution and supply chain solutions manufacturer in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance operations. Responsibilities include managing maintenance activities, leading a maintenance team, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime. Requirements:

• Oversee emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs on production equipment during production runs.
• Supervisor the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues with production machines and tools.
• Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to conduct required maintenance.
• Repair trailers, forklifts, and saw-milling machinery.
• Repair equipment using 440-volt wiring and 3-phase motors, working safely with electrical.
• Lead and supervise maintenance operations, providing guidance and training to ensure efficiency.
• Manage maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to promptly address maintenance issues.
• Plan and coordinate repair and installation activities with internal and external teams.
• Enforce safety policies and promote a safety-conscious culture among the team.
• Schedule repairs and evaluate cost estimates to minimize downtime.
• Manage equipment stock levels and procure supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in maintenance leadership in a manufacturing, distribution, or military (required)
• Skilled in repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical including (required) PLC experience (preferred)
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and record keeping procedures (required) 
• Welding, fabrication, and electrical installation experience (preferred)
• Certifications, military training, and education beyond high-school in relevant field of study (preferred)
