We are seeking Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing team!
As a Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for...
Installation, repair and maintenance of plant support equipment, to include: boilers, air compressors, pelletizers, airvey system, welding, various pumps, pneumatic conveying and chemical feed systems.
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and the PM schedules.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on instrument controls, measuring temperatures, flows, pressures, levels, and other operating variables.
Troubleshoot and diagnose minor electrical problems such as fuses, heaters, motors, and relays.
Perform repairs for maintenance for facility building and systems.
Maintain logs, charts and other documentation as required for maintenance systems.
Utilize various meter equipment for monitoring, checking, troubleshooting multiple industrial control systems including Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Steam.
Complete timely repairs and projects, as assigned.
Perform maintenance and repairs for primary production equipment as required.
Assist and provide support to operators in performing daily tasks including but not limited to tool changes;
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
The purpose of this position is to provide all maintenance support for plant property and equipment, but not limited to general plant maintenance, performing preventive, routine/non-routine maintenance, monitoring, and maintaining the condition of all associated equipment; completing all appropriate documentation; recommends changes in the equipment and processes towards continuous improvement; may be called upon to provide maintenance support for various mechanical installations, in relation to Capitol projects. The expected outcome is to maximize on-stream time for all production equipment, processes, and completion of all Capital projects in the most cost effective and time efficient manner.
Requirements
Our Maintenance Techs are required to possess the following:
5+ years experience with troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical type equipment.
5+ years experience with welding, pipe fitting and instrumentation.
3+ years experience with electrical and plumbing.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Computer skills
working knowledge of PLC's preferred.
Plastics experience highly desired.
