Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Hydraulic & Welding Technician

We are hiring an experienced Industrial Mechanic / Machine Technician for a full-time role in Dover, NJ. This position focuses on industrial machinery maintenance, hydraulic systems, welding, and equipment repair/rebuilding in both shop and field environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and equipment failures
• Perform machine assembly, rebuilding, and fabrication of replacement parts
• Execute TIG and fusion welding, grinding, and metal polishing (stainless & carbon steel)
• Work on hydraulic systems, gearboxes, bearings, seals, shafts, and motor alignment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Perform limited electrical work (motors, switches, basic wiring)
• Conduct on-site field service visits to customer locations as needed
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic / Machine Repair Technician
• Strong hydraulic system assembly and troubleshooting experience (required)
• TIG and fusion welding experience (required)
• Experience with machine rebuilding, gearboxes, bearings, seals, and alignment work
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and technical documentation
• Valid driver's license required for field service work
