Industrial Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks on all industrial machinery and equipment. This role is also responsible for troubleshooting and repairing any issues with the machines as they arise. Additionally, this role will require fabrication skills to match the needs of production and improve our process overall.

Responsibilities and Abilities Include:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or breakdowns
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed
• Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures followed to produce Safe Quality Foods for our customers
• Fabricate or weld as needed to ensure equipment is production ready

Work Environment:

Noise: When the incumbent goes on to the production floor, ear protection is required; in other areas, noise level is moderate.

Temperature: The production floor is maintained at approximately 4O F.; in other areas, the temperature level is moderate. Freezer areas are zero degrees or colder.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Must be able to lift to 60-80 pounds when required to assist in various functions of the facility. 
• Must be able to perform physical activity including bending, climbing, and reaching.

Requirements

 Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to lift and move heavy objects up to 70 lbs.
• Able to perform in extreme working conditions 
• Ability to work well with other associates (team environment)
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints a plus
• Flexibility to meet plant needs a plus
• Must be willing to grow skills with new equipment & training
