What you'll do?

Under the direction of the Industrial Maintenace Manager set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production, quality, and improving plant performance.

• Clean, lubricate, & adjust parts, equipment, & machinery.
• Disassemble machinery & equipment to remove parts & make repairs.
• Conducts hands on preventive maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment, reports to Shift Supervisor, and takes appropriate action
• Analyzes mechanical and operational problems, makes necessary corrections, and runs adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
• Observe & test the operation of machinery & equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters& other testing devices.
• Operate newly repaired machinery & equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Maintenance and repair of process hand tools (e.g., pneumatic or electric reciprocating saws, nail guns).
• Troubleshoot & repair machine electrical & control malfunctions such as 3-phase motor replacements, photo-eye adjustments, servos, machine timing & circuit replacements, etc.
• Cut & weld metal to repair broken parts, fabricate new parts, & assemble new equipment.
• Demonstrate equipment functions & features to machine operators.
• Record parts and materials used and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary.
• Perform other tasks and special assignments as requested by management
• Perform minor unscheduled maintenance and repairs on trucking equipment (forklifts, yard trucks).
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Hours: Sunday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Mon-Thursday 10:00 AM-6:30 PM

Salary: 27/HR to 30 /HR

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old
• Work experience: 3-5 years.
• Strong electrical experience is desired.
• Repairs and maintains mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment. using basic mechanic hand tools, and power tools.
• Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
