Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Pay Range: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians in Louisville, Kentucky. These are full-time roles, including direct hire, short-term, and long-term contract opportunities with employers who value reliability, technical expertise, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues on industrial equipment

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and systems

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including 3-phase power

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic

• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Operate forklifts or cranes to move heavy components when required

• Complete daily task lists and respond to unscheduled maintenance needs

• Document maintenance work including parts used and repairs completed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)

• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics

• Familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and CNC equipment is a plus

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly; more occasionally as needed

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members
