Industrial Maintenance Technician - Full-time (Day Shift)

We operate over 100 "bag-drop" depots across the region and our Biddeford, ME location alone processes hundreds of thousands of containers daily. About the Role

Our team of Maintenance Technicians play a pivotal role in keeping our processing facilities running smoothly. This is an entry-level to mid-level position. The ideal candidate will have experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial equipment. The work we do is unique and those with creative problem solving skills do well. Our machinery runs 24 hours a day and our operations are incredibly fast-paced. This is a full-time position based out of our Biddeford, ME location. Responsibilities

• Proactively examine machinery for excessive wear
• Identify root causes for machinery deficiencies
• Collaborate with teammates and offer solutions 
• Perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance
• Perform pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical repairs 
• Complete preventative maintenance activities according to schedule
• Complete welding and metal work
• Utilize tablets and CMMS programs 
• Forklift operation as needed (CLYNK will train & certify you)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Follow all policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• 2+ years experience working in industrial maintenance or mass-production setting
• Experience completing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical repairs 
• Understanding of OSHA requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and ability to operate self-sufficiently
• Willingness to learn and work on a team 
• Comfortable working in a waste facility environment of different temperatures and odors
• Pre-employment screening: Must be authorized to work in the USA. 
• Physical requirements: Able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Ability to push, pull, lift, twist, turn, bend, kneel, squat, bend, reach and climb. Must have solid hand/eye coordination. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs. Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 20 feet. 
• Schedule: A set schedule of 4 shifts (Sundays - Wednesdays); 6:00am-4:30pm. 
• Location: Primary location is Biddeford, ME. 
• Travel: At least 80% of work will be based at primary location of Biddeford, ME. Occasional travel may be required to Oakland, ME and South Portland, ME locations. Mileage reimbursement available to non-primary locations.
