Key Responsibilities

As an Electro Mechanic I, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime. Your responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Support production by quickly responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems and industrial motor controls
• Work with equipment such as extruders, laminators, slitters, and printing machines
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Industrial manufacturing experience OR military experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Hands-on experience working with manufacturing machinery and automated systems
• Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar systems preferred)
• Experience with industrial motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and control circuits
• Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision

• Blown film extrusion
• Sheet extrusion
• Flexographic printing
• Lamination processes
• Slitting equipment
• Experience with ancillary equipment in plastics or packaging manufacturing environments
