Industrial Maintenance Technician (Reliability) 2nd Shift

What You Will Work On:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the reliability of production equipment by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on steel processing equipment


• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, motors, conveyors, and production equipment


• Replace or repair components such as bearings, belts, motors, and gearboxes


• Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting (motors, controls, sensors)


• Perform fabrication and welding when needed


• Work safely using lockout/tagout procedures


• Support production teams during equipment breakdowns


• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience maintaining or repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment


• Mechanical troubleshooting experience


• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools


• Ability to read basic mechanical diagrams or equipment manuals


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment


• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel occasionally

What Makes You Stand Out:

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred


• Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems


• Welding or fabrication experience


• Basic electrical troubleshooting, including motors, sensors, and controls


• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings


• Experience maintaining steel processing equipment such as slitters or cut-to-length lines


• Experience maintaining forklift or other material handling equipment


• Basic proficiency with MS Office and Windows-based computer applications
