INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC/MILLWRIGHT - Urgent Role

Job Overview:

As a Millwright at Reliable Tire Disposal, you will ensure our machinery's reliability and optimal performance. The successful candidate will execute planned maintenance tasks, enhance equipment reliability, extend tool longevity, and respond promptly to reported machine issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in minimizing downtime, maximizing efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planned Maintenance:
   • Achieve and maintain a high Planned Maintenance Completion Rate by executing scheduled maintenance tasks on time.
   • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Shift Supervisors to plan and prioritize maintenance activities.
   • Conduct routine inspections to identify areas for improvement in planned maintenance processes.
2. Equipment Reliability:
   • Implement measures to enhance the reliability and uptime of machinery after maintenance.
   • Analyze historical data to identify trends and proactively address potential reliability issues.
   • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Operations team to ensure seamless integration of maintenance schedules with production targets.
3. Tool Longevity:
   • Monitor and assess the average lifespan of tools and machinery parts before replacement.
   • Develop strategies to extend tool longevity, reduce replacement costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
   • Provide training and guidance to machine operators on proper tool handling and maintenance.
4. Response Time to Machine Issues:
   • Achieve and maintain a minimal Response Time to Machine Issues by promptly addressing reported problems.
   • Collaborate with shift supervisors and operators to streamline communication channels for issue reporting.
   • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce response times and enhance machine reliability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certification or degree in Millwrighting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Millwright in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• In-depth knowledge of machinery, tools, and maintenance processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
