Industrial Mechanic/Technician - Swing Shift

Alexander’s Print Advantage is seeking a smart, positive, friendly, high-energy individual to work as a Machine Maintenance Technician. If you enjoy working with your hands, learn quickly, love technology, are detail oriented and hardworking we would love to talk with you! Our Machine Maintenance Technician will complete upkeep and repair tasks on company property. We’ll rely on you to keep our machines in perfect condition. You must be well-organized, proficient with printing software and technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Maintain all aspects pertaining to machine maintenance. Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary. Align and calibrate machine parts.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Utilize computer software and technology to trouble-shoot and repair machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Follows manufacturer instructions, diagnosing abnormalities, controlling instruments, and troubleshooting problems.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Locates sources of malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation and repair machines to working order in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency machine requests and perform repairs.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
• Knowledge and compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Swing Shift. Hours fluctuate during peak seasons.

• Previous experience as a machine mechanic, or similar roll.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is highly desired.
• Capability to solve all type of technical issues related to sample, size set, and bulk production with the machines.
• Mechanically inclined with great problem solving and analytical skills.
• Mechanical skills, knowledge of electrical systems, high speed digital print machines, and equipment maintenance knowledge.
• Knowledge of printing software and technologies.
• Proficient in digital print equipment.
• Good communication skill's with a sense of urgency, works well independently and with others.
• Ability to stand for long hours, lift heavy loads, bend, push, pull, and move as needed to service machinery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Resource Management.
