Industrial Millwright - Growth-Minded Organization

Position Overview:

                As one of our Millwrights/Riggers, you will work and possibly oversee a team of professionals in installing, moving, and maintaining conveyor systems and related machinery. Your expertise in heavy rigging and mechanical knowledge of conveyors will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects. We are looking for a leader who can effectively collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of millwrights and riggers in the installation, relocation, and maintenance of conveyor systems and machinery.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to conveyors, motors, drives, and related equipment.
• Train and mentor junior team members on best practices in millwright and rigging techniques.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist coworkers with installing equipment, including Rigging equipment, machinery, and conveyors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Millwright/Heavy Rigger.
• Proven experience in leading teams in an industrial setting, preferably with expertise in conveyor systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components related to conveyors.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, lifting equipment, and machinery safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
