Pay: $18–$22/hour DOE
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Shift: Train on Day Shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), then transition to Night Shift (5:30 PM – 3:30 AM)

Position Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced Industrial Painter for a leading manufacturing facility in Broken Arrow. This is a hands-on position requiring sandblasting, cleaning, and painting compressors and related equipment with minimal supervision. All candidates must pass an onsite test prior to being hired. The ideal Industrial Painter will be familiar with heavy equipment operation, possess a strong understanding of paint systems, and be safety-conscious in demanding environments.

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–5 years of related industrial painting experience
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience
• Ability to operate heavy equipment including:
- Scissor lift
- Crane
- Forklift

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As an Industrial Painter, your responsibilities will include:
• Operating cleaning equipment and prepping surfaces for painting
• Mixing and applying a wide variety of paint systems to meet company and customer specs
• Operating sandblast equipment in accordance with job requirements
• Masking and feathering old paint prior to application of new coatings
• Performing and recording measurements such as Dry Film Thickness (DFT), Psychrometer, and Surface Temperature readings
• Following all applicable HSSE safety guidelines and procedures
• Frequently operating forklifts and scissor lifts
• Maintaining tools and paint equipment with proper care
• Demonstrating flexibility by working in other departments as needed

Preferred Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands

• Frequent climbing of stairs or ladders; ability to maintain balance without assistance
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Work in outdoor and non-climate-controlled environments, including all weather conditions
• Frequent movement including stooping, kneeling, and crouching to complete tasks
• Ability to work in tight or confined spaces
• Must wear all required PPE, including a full face mask
