Industrial Painter 3rd Shift

Southwest Electric Co. Is looking for an Industrial Painter for Oklahoma City, OK.

3rd Shift Sundays 9pm-5:30 am Monday - Thursday 7pm- 5:30 am and Fridays 9pm to 5:30 am. 

Industrial Painter Summary:

Detailed oriented, dependable, self-motivated individual capable of reading and understand blueprints and manufacturing instructions for the application of all paint coatings. 

Coatings include but are not limited to marine grade Zinc, polyurethane and epoxy primer. Load raw material into paint pressure pot and apply coatings per manufacturing instructions and or customer specifications. Manage and maintain paint booth and associated tools.

 Industrial Painter Duties and Responsibilities: include the following:

•  Load raw material into paint pressure pot and apply coatings per manufacturing instructions and or customer specifications.
• Paint and apply finishing coats in accordance with blueprints, manufacturing instructions and/or customer specifications.
• Manage and maintain paint booth and associated tools.
• Read, verify and understand bill of material (BOM).
• Ability to read, understand and comprehend the thickness of paint in mil. gauges.
• Safely operate crane, pallet jack and forklift.
