Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector (NGAS) has an opening for a Principal Industrial Security Analyst / Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Security organization. This leadership role is located in Clearfield, Utah.\n\nThis position will be filled as a Level 3 or 4.\n\nRole Responsibilities:\n\n * Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.\n\n * Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.\n\n * Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.\n\n * Conducts security education classes and oversees security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.\n\n * Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions- PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Investigations and Document Control Management.\n\n\n\n\nThis position will be 1st shift, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do.\n\nPrincipal Industrial Security Analyst (Level 3) Basic Qualifications:\n\n * 5 years of Industrial Security experience with a Bachelors Degree; 3 years of Industrial Security experience with Masters; 1 year of Industrial Security experience with PhD OR an additional 4 Years of Industrial Security or related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree\n\n * Candidate must be a US Citizen\n\n * Must have Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance current within 6 years with the ability to obtain and maintain special access programs\n\n * Knowledge and familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), as well as DoD Manuals, and other US Government security manuals\n\n * Experience with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)\n\n\n\n\nSr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst (Level 4) Basic Qualifications:\n\n * 8 years of Industrial Security experience with a Bachelors Degree; 6 years of Industrial Security experience with Masters; 4 year of Industrial Security experience with PhD OR an additional 4 Years of Industrial Security or related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree\n\n * Candidate must be a US Citizen\n\n * Must have Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance current within 6 years with the ability to obtain and maintain special access programs\n\n * Knowledge and familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), as well as DoD Manuals, and other US Government security manuals\n\n * Experience with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n * Active Top-Secret clearance\n\n * Familiarity with SIMS, DISS and NISS\n\n * Excellent leadership, writing and organization skills, enabling effective communications with team members, fellow employees and government officials\n\n * Extensive background in classified programs and thorough understanding of government security regulations\n\n * Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight\n\n * Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables. Hands on, self-starting, disciplined and detail-oriented individual with ability to work independently in a high-volume environment\n\n * Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
