Industrial/Mechatronic Engineer BESS

We’re looking for an experienced Industrial or Mechatronic Engineer to lead the design, construction, and optimization of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) production line. This role blends manufacturing engineering, automation, and project management, focusing on PLC systems, robotics, and process improvement. • 8+ years in manufacturing, automation, or mechatronics, preferably in energy storage or renewables.

• Expertise in Siemens PLC, SCADA, robotics, and lean manufacturing techniques.

• Strong project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with process optimization, FMEA assessments, and automation systems.

• Security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is a plus but not required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the setup, commissioning, and optimization of the BESS production line.

• Manage teams of engineers, technicians, and contractors to meet deadlines and quality standards.

• Develop and integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components (PLC, SCADA, HMI).

• Implement lean manufacturing and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control.
