Infant Assistant Teacher or Lead Teacher

We want people who want to be Teachers during a child's most formative years. We are looking for a Lead or Assistant Teacher to act as a float teacher in our infant program. The float teacher will mainly act as a substitute for other infant teachers and support giving teachers' breaks and lesson planning time.

The owner and administration team are on site supporting teachers from open to close. 

We are always accepting applications for Teachers of all levels for our children ages 6 weeks to 18 months. 

We use a team teaching approach where everyone:

• Develops lesson plans 


• Meeting the individual's needs of the children,


• Parent communication,


• Participation in staff and training meetings,


• Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom,


• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.


• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level.


• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.


• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.


• Building teamwork.


• Using assessment tools.


• Committing to continuing education.

Teacher Qualifications:

• AA or CDA with two years experience


• OR B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field and one year experience


• OR A similar mix of education and experience

Assistant Teacher Qualifications:

• 12 post-secondary credits in early childhood development or a related field


• Or B.S, in any field


• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks-6 years.


• High school diploma or GED.


• Minimum of 18 years of age.

Aide Teacher Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.


• Minimum of 18 years of age.


• Experience with 6 weeks to 6 years preferred, not required.
