Infant Lead Teacher (4 months to 2 Year Olds)

 Location: Peak Ave Montessori, Morgan Hill

Hours: School Day (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM) or Full Day (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

What You Will Do:

• Create and maintain a peaceful, engaging classroom that reflects authentic Montessori philosophy.


• Comfortably support diapering and toilet learning as part of children’s natural development.


• Observe and guide each child’s individual growth with patience, kindness, and understanding.


• Build strong partnerships with families through open, respectful communication.


• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive school community.


• Foster a classroom culture of independence, respect, and love of learning.

What We Are Looking For:

• 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required


• Experience working with infants, with familiarity with the 0-2 year age group especially valued


• Experience leading a classroom and mentoring assistants preferred


• Montessori training or enthusiasm to deepen understanding of the Montessori method


• Comfortable supporting diapering and bottle feeding


• Warm, collaborative, and organized teaching style


• Commitment to respect, inclusivity, and consistency in practice
