Infant Montessori Teacher

At Karter School of Gainesville, we believe even the tiniest learners deserve a safe, loving, and engaging environment. Our Montessori infant program (6 weeks–16 months) focuses on building trust, nurturing independence, and fostering curiosity through gentle, hands-on care.

What You’ll Do

As an Infant Teacher, you’ll:

• Provide loving, responsive care that supports each baby’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs.


• Create a warm, calm, and safe classroom environment that reflects Montessori principles of order and independence.


• Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, tummy time, and naps — with patience and joy.


• Observe and document developmental milestones, sharing progress and sweet moments with families.


• Partner with parents to ensure consistency between home and school.


• Collaborate with your co-teacher and school leadership to provide the best care possible.

What We’re Looking For

• Must love babies! A nurturing, patient, and joyful personality is a must.


• Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or Montessori setting preferred.
  


• A reliable, compassionate caregiver who understands the importance of routines, safety, and connection.
