About the Role:

Join our passionate team at Wayne Early Learning Center as a Part-Time Infant Room Teacher! This role offers an exciting opportunity to nurture and support the development of infants in a loving and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe and stimulating environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months.

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development.

Observe and assess each child's progress and communicate with parents about their development.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the infant room and play areas.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support a cohesive learning environment.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the classroom.

Foster positive relationships with infants and their families.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:

Experience working with infants or in a childcare setting is preferred.

Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.

Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons.

Passion for early childhood education and fostering positive relationships.

Background check clearance is required.
