Our Story
INTEGRITY
PASSION
EXCELLENCE
These are the core values at Children's Lighthouse Early Learning Schools and have been since our founding more than twenty-five years ago.
When brothers Mike and Pat Brown opened the first Children's Lighthouse school in 1997, they were parents and uncles of several young children. They recognized the need for quality childcare that went beyond playtime and "baby-sitting." That's why, at Children's Lighthouse, our Brand Promise has been the driving factor in everything we do from the beginning.
OUR BRAND PROMISE
We Create a Safe, Fun, and Happy Place That Gives Your Child Confidence, a Sense of Comfort Today, and a Lifelong Love of Learning, Friendship, and Community
Children's Lighthouse launched as one of the first early learning schools to focus on promoting character and values as a cornerstone of early education. By investing in the whole child, Children's Lighthouse grew into one of the nation's leading early education childcare organizations. More than twenty-five years later, our passion to serve children and families still motivates us to strive for excellence in every aspect of our organization. As a result, Children's Lighthouse continues to be a top-tier early learning and childcare provider.
With excellence as the standard, Children's Lighthouse crafted an innovative educational and values-based curriculum designed to engage your child in the joys of learning. Our Director of Education and Training, Dr. Kristi Smith, understands the importance of partnering with families to provide the educational materials that will lay the groundwork for lifelong academic success. Our Lighthouse Pathways™ approach to learning incorporates years of experience and research to support families as they begin their educational journey and beyond.
