You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- EEC Infant Toddler Certification or CDA required
- High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
- A nurturing demeanor and a love for infants and their development
- A minimum of one year of experience working in an infant classroom, practicing safe feeding/sleeping, diapering, sanitation, and sensory and motor development support
Some requirements of the role include:
- Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts
- Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
- Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset
As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Provide attentive, responsive care to infants in a licensed childcare setting
- Support early developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with families and team members
- Follow all state licensing (EEC) and safety regulations
