Infant Teacher Nurture the Littlest Learners

Are you warm, patient, and passionate about caring for infants? Do you love watching babies grow, learn, and hit exciting milestones? Palmetto Preschool – Northchase is seeking a full-time Infant Teacher to join our loving and supportive early childhood team. We’re located in the Murrayville area of Wilmington, right across from Laney High School, and we serve children ages 6 weeks and up in an educational, nurturing environment.

This is more than just a daycare job—it's an opportunity to help shape a child's first experiences in a trusted early learning setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide consistent, loving care to infants in a safe and stimulating environment


• Follow a daily routine that includes feeding, diapering, tummy time, naps, and individualized attention


• Support developmental milestones through music, sensory activities, and one-on-one interactions


• Build strong bonds with children and maintain open communication with families


• Keep detailed records of each child’s care, routines, and progress


• Work collaboratively with your co-teacher and classroom team

What We’re Looking For:

• A calm, nurturing personality and passion for infant care


• Strong understanding of infant needs and development


• Experience working in a licensed preschool, daycare, or childcare center is preferred but not required


• High school diploma or equivalent required
