Join our community
Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, “community” is still the heart of our organization. It means providing our neighbors with the best care possible, backed by state-of-the-art technology. It means getting involved in the communities we serve through volunteer opportunities and benefit initiatives. It means ensuring our dedicated caregivers can learn and grow to stay at the top of their fields, and to better serve our patients. And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you.
Make a Difference
The Infection Control Manager is responsible for identifying, monitoring, evaluating, educating and making recommendations for improving processes affecting the prevention or reduction of infection risks to all employees and patients and visitors throughout the continuum of the network (inpatient and outpatient services excluding VEI). The IP Team provides consulting services only as needed for VEI but does not have authority over them. The Infection Control Manager functions as an expert resource across the continuum of care for infection prevention research, practice and implementation of evidence-based interventions. The Infection Control Manager is accountable at their assigned site for implementing an Infection Prevention program that meets the regulatory standards of accrediting and licensure agencies. Responsible for trend analysis of epidemiologically significant organisms and healthcare acquired infections. Consults with site leadership to establish goals and action plans.
