GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Infection Prevention Program Manager (Registered Nurse) reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for implementation and ongoing monitoring of Infection Prevention and Practices across the organization, the Sexually Transmitted Infection Prevention Clinic, and the Triage RNs that support patients within the clinical units. In addition, this position will support activities related to maintaining the CLIA waived Point of Care testing and the clinical application of the electronic medical record.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Current NYS Nursing License; Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) required within 1 year. Five or more years’ experience in health care services; prior supervisory experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrates cultural sensitivity and competency related to the populations served; proficient in use of MS Office products.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Salary range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually
