Informatica Developer

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Developer with hands-on experience in ETL development and Data Warehousing using Informatica 9.5.1, DAC (Data Warehouse Administration Console), and Oracle Database. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in designing, implementing, and tuning ETL workflows, ensuring data integrity, and managing job schedules through DAC.

Must live in proximity to Rockville, MD

• Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter 9.5.1.


• Configure and manage job schedules using DAC for efficient data load cycles.


• Perform performance tuning of ETL processes and SQL queries for optimal throughput and resource utilization.


• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle, from source to target.


• Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and other developers to gather requirements and ensure accurate data delivery.


• Monitor ETL jobs, identify issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.


• Maintain technical documentation for ETL mappings, workflows, and scheduling configurations.


• Conduct unit and integration testing to validate data correctness and performance.


• Troubleshoot issues related to data loads, transformations, and database performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.


• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter 9.5.1.


• Experience in DAC configuration and job scheduling.


• Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c).


• Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and relational database principles.


• Proven experience with performance tuning of Informatica workflows and SQL queries.


• Knowledge of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schema) is a plus.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with data quality tools and concepts.


• Exposure to BI tools like OBIEE or similar.


• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
