Job Description - Information Security Risk Analyst

For one of our clients we are looking for an experienced Information Security Risk Analyst. The Risk Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing security risks within the organization. In this role, you will play a key part in minimizing risks and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. You will work closely with different departments to evaluate potential threats, implement risk management strategies, and support the organization in maintaining strong information security practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in information security, risk management, or a similar role
Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are preferred
Strong analytical and problem -solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non -technical stakeholders
Knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools
Experience with international standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or COBIT is considered a plus

What you will be doing

As an Information Security Risk Analyst, you will identify, analyze, and assess information security risks across the organization. You will develop and implement effective risk management strategies and mitigation plans to reduce vulnerabilities. The position also involves monitoring security risks, ensuring compliance with information security policies and standards, and collaborating with internal teams to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture. Additionally, you will communicate risk findings and provide recommendations to both technical and non -technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable way.
