Position: Information Security Technology Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Technology Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a leading real estate company, we understand the importance of protecting sensitive information and maintaining a secure network. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and recommend solutions

- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, and respond to security breaches in a timely and effective manner

- Manage and maintain security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies

- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement as needed

- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans

- Participate in the planning and implementation of new technology initiatives to ensure security is incorporated from the beginning

- Stay informed about changes in regulations and compliance requirements, and ensure the organization remains in compliance at all times

- Investigate and resolve security incidents and provide reports to management as necessary

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, preferably in a corporate setting

- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS

- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption

- Familiarity with network and system administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
