Position: Information Security Technology Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Technology Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a leading real estate company, we are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of security for their sensitive information and data. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who can help us maintain and enhance our information security systems and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and maintain the company's information security systems and protocols

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions

- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, and take appropriate measures to prevent future occurrences

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks

- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures into new and existing systems

- Provide training and support to employees on security best practices and protocols

- Conduct regular security awareness programs to promote a culture of security within the company

- Work with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of shared data and systems

- Maintain documentation of security systems, policies, and procedures for reference and audit purposes

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, preferably in a corporate setting

- Strong knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices

- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners

- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
