Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Technology Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data and systems.

- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.

- Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to proactively address potential risks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.

- Provide training and support to employees on information security best practices.

- Manage and maintain security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.

- Conduct security audits and penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities.

- Respond to and manage security incidents, including conducting forensic investigations and implementing remediation measures.

- Create and maintain documentation of security processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, preferably in a corporate environment.

- Strong knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices.

- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.

- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
