Position: Information Security Technology Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Technology Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a leading real estate company, we understand the importance of protecting our clients' sensitive information and maintaining the security of our systems. Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and maintain information security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data and systems

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them

- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting forensic investigations and implementing corrective actions as needed

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies and make recommendations for improvement

- Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards such as GDPR and PCI DSS

- Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a strong security culture

- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain security controls and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools

- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential weaknesses

- Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers

- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, preferably in a corporate environment

- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST

- Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners

- Familiarity with network and system security, including authentication protocols, encryption, and access controls

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus

- Experience in the real estate industry is a plus, but not required
