THE WORK:
- You'll assist in coordinating the AP month-end close process.
- You'll manage and maintain vendor information in ERP system.
- You'll process all disbursements in accordance with approval requirements.
- You'll complete the issuance of annual 1099 forms in accordance with IRS regulations.
- You'll maintain and produce documentation required for audits.
- You'll issue as needed W9 forms in compliance with IRS regulations.
- You'll explore how we can further automate AP processes to decrease the service level agreement (SLA) time, decrease manual error, and increase customer satisfaction.
- You'll develop and implement a sound control environment as it relates to cash receipts and disbursements.
- You'll issue timely payments to vendors based on payment terms.
- You'll manage Positive Pay via bank platform.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Proficient in computer software programs, such as ERP, MS Office, databases and accounting software.
- Strong and proactive communication skills to ensure timely approvals are received and that company policy is followed.
- Strong attention to detail. This role should prioritize accuracy over speed.
- General accounting knowledge.
- Strong Excel skills and strong aptitude in developing, manipulating, and managing complex spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.
- Ability to manage high volume of invoices, questions, and payments.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work product.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- 3+ years of prior experience in Accounts Payable role preferred.
$40,000 - $50,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
