Job Description -We're looking for a Infrastructure Engineer with Database products Development and Engineering of Tools for our on-premise and Cloud Database Platforms

Engage in and improve whole lifecycle of Database Services Oracle products & tools for the infrastructure services on-premises and in cloud. This includes inception, design, curation and engineering through development, deployment and refinement.apply a broad range of engineering practices, from analyzing requirements and developing new features to automated testing, deployment, and operations.ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.work in Agile model with Scrum method and SRE Principles to deliver reliable and efficient platforms.

Your teamIn our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You'll be working in the Hosting Services - Database team in Pune, India / Navi Mumbai, India focusing on managed database offerings comprised of: product engineering, curation and deployments for Databases Oracle and tools at on-premises and in Azure. Our products are consumed by Business aligned Technology and App-Dev teams across business divisions, globally.

Your expertisebachelor or master's degree or equivalent focusing on Engineering, development, curation and deployment for Databases Oracle products & toolsMust be an expert in Administration of Oracle 19c DBACloud experience specifically on AzureMust be an expert YAML, BASH, Skills for automation on top of Oracle DB platform for housekeeping, compliance, monitoringProficient with Infra-as-a-Code, GIT, GitLab Runner and building CI/CD pipelinesDeveloping templates using Ansible PlaybookDevelopment experience in Python modulesAzure tools like ARM and PIM (Privileged Identify Management)experience as infrastructure engineer focused on Database technology. Proficiency on underlying infrastructure and Operating Systems like Unix RHEL 7/8, Solarisstrong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing.good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinkingHaving good experience and exposure on Database / Infrastructure resiliency, backup, and DR Designsconfident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences.
