Infrastructure Engineer - Growth-Minded Organization

We have partnered with our client in their search for an Infrastructure Engineer for one of our clients in Columbus, OH

Responsibilities

• Roles and Responsibilities: This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  * Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies
  * Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication
  * Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
  * Strong knowledge of zOSConnect (aka zOSC or zCEE) on the mainframe. Build, configure and trouble shoot issues.
  * Proficient across WebSphere (WAS) Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Design (compliance, security) and Connectivity (planning, securing)
  * Strong knowledge of server side design patterns and continuous delivery principles
  * Ability to articulate and share clear, concise complex technical findings to management in understandable terms
  * Intermediate/Strong proficiency in these key areas:
  * WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and zOSConnect/zCEE
  * JAVA
  * TCP/IP, Certificates, AT-TLS, Keyring, Keystore
  * Experience with USS (dire

Skills Required

• * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  * Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Python, Java, C, C++, Go, JCL, REXX, PERL, PHP, JYTHON, zOSMF Workflows, J2EE, MVC, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, HTML, JQuery, AngularJS, JSON and XML
  * Advanced experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, unix/linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large scale software development, security software development

• Degree BS BA or Equivalent
