Nationwide IT Services is seeking a full-time Infrastructure Engineering Manager for a potential opportunity to support the Department of Defense Office (DoD), Inspector General (OIG), and Information Technology Support Services (ITSS).

The DoD OIG mission is to detect and deter fraud, waste, and abuse in DoD programs and operations; promote the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the DoD; and help ensure ethical conduct throughout the DoD. The DoD OIG keeps the Secretary of Defense and Congress informed of fraud, waste, abuse, and program deficiencies identified through its oversight work. The DoD OIG’s administrative and criminal investigators, auditors, evaluators, and support staff operate globally, conducting investigations, audits, evaluations, and mission support activities to accomplish the DoD OIG’s mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute technical strategies and roadmaps for infrastructure, aligning them with broader business and engineering objectives.
Coach, mentor, and motivate engineering teams to achieve high performance and drive technical delivery.
Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure systems.
Ensure operational excellence by managing platforms, maintaining SLAs/SLOs for uptime and performance, and ensuring system reliability.
Work with product, security, and other engineering teams to align goals, share knowledge, and foster a collaborative environment.
Maintain a deep understanding of the technology landscape, including cloud platforms, backend systems, automation, and modern infrastructure trends.

Job Qualifications:

Possess current Security Clearance of TS with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, information technology, or equivalent work experience. A master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
10 years’ experience in the IT field.
5 years’ experience managing hybrid IT environments and technologies.
5 years’ experience with implementing on-premises and cloud infrastructure projects, including servers, networking, storage, and VoIP.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate.
