Job Description

• The Infrastructure Services LOB Manager oversees both the underlying technology infrastructure (like servers, networks, databases, and storage) and the software applications that run on it, ensuring smooth operation,  performance,      and security by managing hardware, software deployments, network connectivity, application maintenance,  and monitoring across the entire IT ecosystem within an organization; essentially acting as a bridge between the  technical infrastructure and the business applications that users rely on.
• Key responsibilities include selecting and deploying hardware like network devices and storage, managing cloud infrastructure, monitoring network performance and security, implementing and maintain system backup and disaster recovery plans, and database management.
• Overseeing application development, deployment, and updates.
• Managing application performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensuring application compatibility across different platforms and devices.
• Implementing and maintaining security policies for both infrastructure and applications.
• Monitoring for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Forecasting future IT needs and scaling infrastructure accordingly.
• Organizing resource utilization to maintain performance and cost.
• The Infrastructure Services LOB Manager has direct past experience within two (2) years of a candidate being on-board in the position.
• It is required that the Infrastructure Services LOB Manager has the following qualifications:
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, or a related field      at time of proposal submission.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, possess a minimum of eight (8) years of recent experience providing program management similar to the work described in this PWS and compliance with industry best practices.
• Deep understanding of IT Infrastructure components like servers, networks, storage, database, and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of application development methodologies and software architecture.
• Expertise in network security and data protection practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong leadership and team building capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with different teams across the organization
• It is desired that the Infrastructure LOB Manager has the following qualifications:
• Possess a current Project Management Certification (example: PMI PMP® Certification).

• The Infrastructure Services LOB Manager has direct past experience within two (2) years of a candidate being on-board in the position.
