Duties/Responsibilities:
Completes the hiring, onboarding, annual reviews, schedule, timesheet and PTO approval, training, discipline and coaching of Clinical Staff.
Oversees clinical staffing matters, including training, development, and engagement.
Develops, implements, and evaluates goals and activities to execute day to day operations of the clinical teams.
Responsible for clinic flow and cohesiveness of clinical departments.
Creates and ensures compliance with clinical policies and procedures to promote safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Assesses, monitors, and educates all clinical staff on standards of patient care, instituting emergency procedures as necessary.
Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Analyzes and implements strategies to improve job satisfaction, job retention and morale of clinical team members.
Liaison between clinical team members and administrative team.
Performs limited hands-on clinical duties (there may be clinical responsibilities when the unit is short-staffed).
Participates in collaboration and leadership throughout the clinic.
Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Compassionate and caring bedside manner.
Motivational Managerial Skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Education:
Experience in Oncology strongly preferred.
Associate degree in nursing required, BSN strongly preferred.
Idaho RN License, required upon hire.
CPR/BLS certification, required upon hire.
