Infusion Nurse Practitioner

Sage Elevate is a startup outpatient/ambulatory behavioral health treatment center located in Tampa, FL. We are looking for a full-time autonomous nurse practitioner to join our team. As the face of Sage Elevate, you will be the key provider, responsible for Behavioral Health  medication administration, response management, and post-care for patients. In addition, the APRN will monitor patients on our premises during treatment and provide the necessary education on treatment regimen, condition management, and potential side-effects as appropriate. The APRN is an integral member of a multidisciplinary team and will work closely with intake and clinical staff. This position has the opportunity to grow and can include more hours as needed.


Major Responsibilities:

• Provide medication management and monitor patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex needs.
• Chart/schedule review.
• Determine appropriateness of patient and medication administration that day.
• Reach out to referring providers as necessary for questions/concerns related to patient condition and medication administration.  
• Maintain a safe environment for patients during observation periods as well monitoring clinically per Sage Elevate protocols.
• Participates in specialized one on one training of other clinical staff as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Licensed autonomous APRN with a background in behavioral health and behavioral health medication management required.
• DEA license required.
• Subject to license verification, criminal background check and drug screening. 
• Licensed to practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Florida.
• Compliance with continuing and mandatory education.
• Practices nursing within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of FL. 
• Credentialing with insurance payors is required. 
• BLS required.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Hourly rate range $65-$85 per hour.
