SummitWest Care is a local nonprofit home care agency seeking caring and dependable individuals to support clients throughout Mesa County who wish to remains safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

As a caregiver you will have the opportunity to build meaningful one-on-one relationships while helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

Every client has unique needs, but common duties include:

• Providing companionship and conversation


• Assisting with meal planning and preparation


• Helping with light housekeeping and daily household tasks


• Supporting personal care needs and routine health maintenance activities


• Observing and reporting concerns, changes, or client needs

Qualifications

No previous health or caregiving experience required!

We are looking for caregivers who are:

• At least 18 years of age


• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated


• Open to learning and training


• Comfortable working independently


• Able to provide their own transportation with valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle

Current Scheduling Needs

Schedules are built around client needs and caregiver availability, but all schedules contain:

• Part-time hours only (under 30 hours per week)


• Morning, daytime, or early evening visits


• No overnight shifts
