BrightStar Care of Honolulu is hiring dependable and professional caregivers to join our elite team as Field Specialists — full-time in-home caregiving roles designed for those who want guaranteed hours, premium pay, and full access to benefits, including comprehensive health insurance at no cost to the employee.

As a Field Specialist, you’ll provide care for clients wherever it is needed most. You’ll play a key role in filling urgent open shifts and call-outs, ensuring veterans, seniors, and families across Oahu receive uninterrupted, compassionate care.

Leadership & Career Growth
Serve as a mentor for other caregivers, start care for new clients, and serve as one of our expert caregivers.

Weekend Availability Required
You must be available for both Saturday's and Sunday's.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide care for clients anywhere on Oahu, following care plans and clinical direction


• Must be willing to travel to clients anywhere on Oahu.


• Accept and complete all shifts during your availability window


• Fill urgent shifts and call-outs to ensure continuous client care


• Perform hands-on personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and other ADLs


• Assist with mobility and transfers (up to 50 lbs)


• Provide safe client transportation as needed


• Mentor and support fellow caregivers in the field

What We’re Looking For

Reliable and flexible — able to commit to a 12-hour availability window, 5–6 days/week (including weekends)
At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred (CNA/HHA a plus)
Driver’s license and reliable vehicle — required to travel anywhere on the island
Professional and compassionate — committed to excellent client care and peer mentorship
Commitment to guaranteed hours — must accept all assigned shifts and avoid call-offs
