Position Overview
As the In-Home Sales Manager, you will lead, mentor, and develop our team of HVAC Comfort Advisors. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer interactions, and optimizing the in-home sales process. This position will require intensive HVAC training, even if prior HVAC experience is not present.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and support a team of Comfort Advisors to meet and exceed sales targets
Manage team scheduling, coaching, ride-alongs, and pipeline reviews
Work cross-functionally with service and marketing teams to ensure strong lead flow and conversion
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Monitor and report on sales KPIs such as conversion rates, average ticket, and close ratios
Promote a values-driven sales culture that emphasizes education and transparency
Requirements
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of in-home sales experience
Minimum 3+ years of leadership or management experience
HVAC industry experience is a plus, but not required
Must be willing to undergo intensive HVAC training
Strong communication, leadership, and coaching abilities
Familiarity with CRM and sales software platforms
Ability to manage and analyze data for performance improvement
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Valid driver's license with clean record
Must pass background check and drug screening
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Office setting; may report to jobsites to assist with customers as needed
Frequent travel to homes and job sites
Work may be performed in both office and residential environments
Extended periods of sitting, driving, or walking may be required
Desired Skills and Experience
Prior success in managing or coaching a high-performing in-home sales team
Background in residential HVAC, home services, or similar industries
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends
