This position is requiring to be familiar with many classes of Computed Tomography imaging equipment. The In-House CT Technician installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates and verifies the performance of systems and associated parts. This role involves a strong combination of mathematics, physics and programming skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Repair parts for sale, ordering parts and phone support to customers
Perform installations and deinstallation of systems as needed
Perform quarterly preventative maintenance on in-house systems
Parts testing, repair analysis and system diagnostic testing
Maintaining cleanliness and order in the workshop
Constant communication and attention to the workflow of the workshop
Perform incoming inspections, equipment quality control, testing, calibration, and image evaluation of equipment according to manufactures specifications and other established guidelines
Demonstrate adherence to the business core values in all professional interactions with internal and external customers and exhibiting integrity
Work overtime as necessary during on-call weeks and at other times as required. Potential on-call rotation for afterhours part and sales support.
Tank and tube repairs as needed
Support Quality initiatives as it pertains to the organization and the role
Requirements:
Education
Associates degree or higher in Electronics Tech required or Military equivalent
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
Experience
3 plus years' experience in a medical field as a service engineer
Knowledge of medical imaging requirements in general and computed tomography in particular
Experience with OEM, GE or Siemens CT/MRI recommend
Possesses knowledge of electrical safety theory
Competencies
Excellent customer service & communication skills
Attention to details and well-organized with good follow through
Works well with all levels of management, hospital staff, clients, end users and vendors
