Summary of Position: 

The school seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Innovation Program Coordinator who is engaged in the community and dedicated to carrying out the mission of the school. This position is a full time, 10 month faculty position starting in August of 2025. The hired employee will report to the Head of Upper School. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Serve as a chief innovator and design thinker
• Build the reputation for excellence and leadership in innovative education at St. Michael’s Catholic Preparatory School
• Drive ongoing HALO (Hub for Advanced Learning Opportunities) curriculum development and implementation in collaboration with the Academic Deans and Head of Upper School
• Manage resources and spaces within HALO and support PK-12 alignment with regard to innovation related programming
• Work collaboratively with academic leadership and faculty to maximize use of the Design Studio and other HALO spaces
• Work collaboratively with communications, admissions and development teams
• Develop and leverage strong relationships with area industry experts and organizations
• Support faculty professional development related to innovation across the curriculum and use of the HALO space
• Serve as an advisor relative to technology use, program and implementation
• Support faculty engagement in the development of cross curricular projects
• Conduct professional development for faculty in support of innovation across the curriculum
• Teach a minimum of one class section
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School

Requirements

Required Experience, Degree and Skills:

• Have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
• Prior experience is required
• Successful candidates will have significant experience with technology, instructional coaching, management and community outreach.
