Inpatient Coder

A smaller hospital near La Crosse, WI is seeking an Inpatient Coder to join their on-site team!

Pay: $22-$33/hr (based on experience)

Inpatient Coder Opportunity:

• Full-time permanent
  


• Schedule: Day Shift; Monday-Friday with holiday call rotation required
  


• Setting: On-site
  


• Responsible for reviewing and completing coding work on a daily basis and completing daily deficiency analysis – including obtaining signatures or other missing medical record information
  

Inpatient Coder Qualifications:

• American Health Information Association (AHIMA) certified Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
  


• Knowledge of billing and collection procedures (CPT and ICD-10)
  


• Previous experience as an inpatient coding specialist is preferred
