Inside Commercial Sales - Electrical

Bayside Electric Supply Co, Inc is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Inside Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales through our commercial division, working closely with electrical contractors, builders, and business clients to meet their electrical supply needs. Your role will involve understanding client requirements, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your primary duties will include processing sales orders, generating quotes, and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients. By collaborating with our sales team, you will identify new opportunities for growth and provide support in targeting prospective accounts. A strong customer service mindset and a passion for the electrical supply industry will be essential for your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their inquiries and provide accurate product information
• Process sales orders and generate quotes in a timely manner
• Maintain client records and follow up on outstanding orders
• Collaborate with the team for additional strategies for commercial products
• Support outside sales efforts with lead generation and customer outreach
• Stay updated on industry trends and new products to effectively advise customers
• Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally and promptly

• Previous experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in the electrical supply industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Basic technical knowledge of electrical products and applications is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or related field is advantageous
