About the Role:

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales representative to join our team at Delta Steel: Houston. As a leading steel service center in Houston, TX, we are looking for a motivated individual to help drive sales and provide excellent customer service to our clients in San Antonio, South Texas and West Texas markets.

Responsibilities:

Prospect new customers and accounts

Manage and grow existing customer accounts

Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock

Provide pricing and delivery information to customers

Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure on-time delivery

Entry and processing of customer orders

Resolve customer inquiries and issues

Follow up with customers regarding quotations and outcalls to customers to generate additional inquiries

Meet and exceed sales targets and goals

Position will be located in our Houston office servicing the San Antonio, South Texas and West Texas markets

Requirements:

Prior experience in inside sales or customer service role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge of steel, metal or fabrication industry is a plus
