Inside Sales Account Manager

Description:

• An established and well-regarded fresh cut processor is adding to their small team.
• Our client is strongest in the Northeast but can ship nationwide.
• Biggest customers are broadline foodservice and retail. (Regional and Independent)
• This newly created role will support some of their biggest and most important customers, as well as developing new and/or marginal accounts.
• This position is based full-time in the greater Hackensack, NJ area office.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Account management experience of both new and existing customers. Foodservice and Retail are preferred but also open to good wholesale business.
• Knowledge and understanding of the fresh produce supply chain and operations.
• Previous sales experience in fresh produce is strongly preferred but will also consider perishable food backgrounds.

First year earnings the company may reasonably expect to pay for this role is $90,000 to $150,000. The actual salary for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills and experience. The base salary range does not include other compensation elements, (commission, bonuses, etc.) which will compose the total compensation package, or other benefits available to the position.
