Inside Sales Account Manager - Building Products - Base Salary to 65k/year - Garfield Heights, OH

• Our client is a U.S. manufacturer of building and construction products seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to join their team. This is an in-office sales position focused on managing existing distributor accounts, developing new business, and supporting construction-related product sales.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow existing distributor accounts while identifying, pursuing, and developing new distributor relationships
• Prospect for new business through outbound sales, lead generation, cold calling, and account development activities
• Support construction project sales through advisory and technical product discussions with customers and distributors
• Develop knowledge of the company’s building products, construction products, applications, and competing products to support customer needs
• Identify potential new products and market opportunities within the building products and construction materials marketplace
• Attend a limited number of industry trade shows as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Inside sales or outside sales experience required
• Experience with prospecting, cold calling, telemarketing, outbound sales, or new business development required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 50k - 65k range, plus an uncapped commission plan
