We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales Administrator to join our team.

Job Description: The Inside Sales Administrator is responsible for driving sales growth by providing excellent customer service, managing customer inquiries, generating quotes and assisting in the order process for our high-quality valve products. You will work closely with both internal teams and external customers to ensure timely and efficient processing of orders, fostering long-term relationships and contributing to the overall success of the business.

 Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction:
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email or online channels regarding valve products and services.
    • Provide product information, technical specifications, and support to customers, ensuring they receive accurate and timely responses.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and encourage repeat business.
  • Sales Support:
    • Prepare and process quotes for customers based on their specifications and requirements.
    • Collaborate with the sales team and engineering to ensure accurate pricing, lead times and product availability.
    • Assist in managing customer accounts and tracking sales opportunities.
  • Order Processing:
    • Review and process customer orders in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Coordinate with production, logistics and inventory teams to ensure on-time delivery and proper fulfilment of orders.
    • Handle any order discrepancies or customer complaints, working to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Market Research & Product Knowledge:
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products and new technologies in the valve manufacturing space.
    • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer needs, preferences and market trends.
  • Sales Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, quotes and sales orders in the company CRM system.
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and assist in meeting sales targets.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the external sales team, engineering and production departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
    • Participate in regular team meetings and provide input on process improvements and sales strategies.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience in sales or customer service preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service or technical sales, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector (valve or related industries a plus).
  • Strong technical knowledge of valve products, applications and industry standard is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer or phone.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Continuous movement of parts weighing up to 50lbs with or without accommodations are required in all positions.
