Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team.
Inside Sales Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical guidance to the sales team and customers throughout the sales process. Understand customer requirements and recommend engineered solutions, such as complex flow/process dynamics or complex control system requirements
Develop a general understanding of our products or services, including their technical specifications, features, and benefits
Understand customer requirements for industrial applications and provide engineered solutions to solve customer problems
Create quotes, proposals, and/or technical documentation for customers. Ensure that quotes align with customer requirements and highlight the value proposition of our offerings
Engage with customers via phone, email, and online meetings to address their technical inquiries, and offer pre-sales and post-sales product support. Build strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
Work closely with internal teams, including other business unit inside sales groups, outside sales, inventory planning, and customer support, to coordinate activities and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Provide feedback to principal vendors based on customer requirements
Stay updated on product enhancements and new releases, and ensure that sales team members are equipped with the latest information
Requirements
Inside Sales Engineer Education and/or Skills or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering strongly preferred. Bachelor's or Associate’s degree with equivalent work experience required
Previous experience developing industrial quotations and job estimates
Easily navigate unit conversions and units by metrics for process conditions
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills and experience
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools is a plus
Familiarity with Fisher Valve/Regulator is strongly preferred
Inside Sales Engineer Pay:
Salary Range: $72,500 - $85,000
Potential Bonus: 10%
